Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood mission director, Gaelec Simard, revealed Uplay numbers of Assassin's Creed II's completion rate at a recent press event. The number according to him were good.
Using data from the Uplay service Ubisoft was able to track how many players completed the game. Simard revealed that 40% had seen the game to completion and thought this was "huge". It's not surprising for him to think this is a big number as a study peformed by Gamasutra revealed that only 30% of GTA IV players finished it.
Simard assumes that, "the number of games that are finished is more like five to ten percent." He continues on to say, "We all think people finish games, but when you start asking around, you'll find that a lot of people don't get to the end. We want the player to experience the whole package, so that's something we're trying to push."
