The diary starts with the developers describing Borgia as the ultimate nemesis and his three generals which you'll probably assassinate too. Some new gameplay details include:
- Entire missions designed around the Leonardo's war machines. Steal them, use them and then destroy them.
- The secret locations from Assassin's Creed II will return with new surprises.
- It's unclear if this is what was meant but I understood the crossbow will be upgradeable. Also there is a parachute for jumping off high buildings and landing on targets.
- There are enemies with guns, Borgia's elite guards.
- At the end of the diary, they reveal Ezio will go to Spain. Spain!
