Jesper Kyd, composer for Assassin's Creed and Assassin's Creed II, is once again returning to compose and original soundtrack for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood.
Kyd was quoted as saying, "Researching the history of the Borgia Family it became clear early on that Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood would require a very dark score in order to match the Borgias’ aspirations to become the rulers of Italy. The music reflects the compelling story of Ezio as a Master Assassin going up against the Borgias." The music will undoubtedly bring together elements of the renaissance like the AC II soundtrack did. It's great to bring him back on as his work in AC II was simply some of the best music in a videogame I have heard in a long time.
The soundtrack will be on sale on iTunes on November 16, the same day Brotherhood will hit retail shelves.
