Splinter Cell: Double Agent Easter Egg Revealed

Here is the YouTube version, since the Vimeo one was taken down.

This is the week for easter eggs in stealth games. First Batman: Arkham Asylum, now Splinter Cell: Double Agent. For nearly four years this easter egg lay hidden within the Xbox version of Double Agent but now it has been uncovered thanks to some of the developers.

As seen  in the video, the co-op levels are filled with hidden seals. By using a gold piece (that you find in a locker) on a vending machine you can save seal that was "trapped" inside. This seal will then tell you about more seals that are trapped within the level, which then you leads to another seal, etc.

This type of thing is quite silly but also fun for fans of the game. It's somewhat disappointing than no one found this and had to be revealed by the developer. It's also interesting to note that this is the week that two stealth games, specifically, both have easter eggs that were hidden so well the developer has to reveal them.
