Batman: Arkham City Hitting Fall 2011

Just yesterday it was revealed that OPM and OXM will have the first details on Batman: Arkham Asylum 2. Today we find out that GameInformer will also have some of those first details as they expose their September issue with  Batman: Arkham City on the cover.

Not much is known at this point, other than that Arkham City is walled prison within Gotham city. The game is also slated for a fall 2011 release on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. One more detail is the GameInformer cover that displays the inclusion of Catwoman.

Kotaku also states that, "The game will include story that 'draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight,' according to the press release."

Let's hope Rocksteady Studios can knock this one out of the park like they did with Arkham Asylum.
