Metal Gear Solid HD Trilogy Possibly In The Works

We've been seeing quite a few HD remakes announced for the PS3, like Splinter Cell Compilation, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, and Prince of Persia Trilogy. Is it possible that Metal Gear Solid will get the same HD treatment?

The UK's Official PlayStation Magazine (OPM) is reporting rumors that the "first three" games in the Metal Gear Solid series (Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 3) are currently being touched up for a release as HD remakes on the PS3.

No other details were reported. We can only hope that this comes true. MGS, MGS 2, and MGS 3 would look amazing in HD, particularly 3, with its lush jungles.
