'Big' Assassin's Creed Game Coming 2011

Geoffory Sardin, EMEA chief of marketing and sales, revealed that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood was there biggest game launch in the UK, selling 1 million copies in less than a week. What he also revealed is that there will be another Assassin's Creed game in 2011.

While Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot said he wanted to make the AC series into a yearly occurrence and said there will be something AC in 2011 it's still surprising to find out there will be another "big" AC game coming in 2011.

That's what Sardin revealed when he said, "Yes, Yves mentioned it last week in our financials – and more details will be forthcoming. But what I can say is that next year we will have another big Assassin’s Creed game." Another big Assassin's Creed game will presumably be on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, if history is any indicator. Will it be AC 3, as each major AC release has been separated by a two-year development cycle? It seems likely. As long as the games maintain a certain level of quality I don't really mind the AC series becoming a yearly event, otherwise we have a problem.
