The Splinter Cell trilogy was rumored for a while and then finally confirmed and set for release on March 22 on PS3. Now we have ESRB listings indicating that it won't just be coming to the PS3 but also to the Xbox 360.
It would make sense for Ubisoft to release the trilogy on both consoles, especially since the Splinter Cell series has always performed a little better on the Xbox. We do have to wonder, however, is it possible this is just an error on the part of the ESRB, and if it is coming to the Xbox 360 why hasn't Ubisoft announced it by now? Maybe it's part of their marketing campaign. Either way Ubisoft doesn't have much to gain on keeping it a PS3 exclusive, when they could possibly sell twice as much by releasing it on both consoles.
At the time of this writing Amazon is only listing the PS3 version of Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD.
