Assassin's Creed 3 Won't Arrive in 2011

This is probably not a surprise to many but Jean-Francois Boivin, associate producer on Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, has stated that Assassin's Creed 3 won't be released in 2011. With Brotherhood coming in November of 2010, it would be too soon to release "3" in 2011.

Jean-Francois is very aware of the over-saturation of the market with games like Guitar Hero. He very clearly states he doesn't want Assassin's Creed to become a series that players get tired of. So when should you expect AC 3? Jean-Francois says, "I think we could do something really true to the license if we skip a year and release it in 2012 or 2013."
