The Da Vinci Disappearance Brings Single, Multiplayer Content To Brotherhood

Ubisoft is finally bringing more single player content to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood with "The Da Vinci Disappearance", as well as some more multiplayer maps and characters. UPDATED

The Disappearance will appear on PSN and Xbox Live for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft points sometime in early March. The single player content follows the events after the Borgia downfall in which Leonardo Da Vinci is kidnapped by the Hermeticists, who are an "underground cult dedicated to transforming mankind." Ezio must then recover stolen paintings in order to save Da Vinci. Two new locations and two new gameplay mechanics are promised for the single player.

For multiplayer, you can expect one new map; Alhambra which is described as a "lush environment set in Spain's Albaicin of Granada and provides multileveled indoor and outdoor areas perfect for predators to lurk in the dense crowd for unsuspecting targets." There will be four new characters to choose from including the Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis and the Pariah.

The new game modes include Escort and Assassinate. Escort involves two teams of four players, one player being the VIP in each team. Each team must protect the their VIP and try to assassinate the VIP of the opposing team. In Assassinate, six to eight players are tasked with killing each other in a ten minute match, it's a basic deathmatch game type.
