The singleplayer content will have you trying to find Leonardo Da Vinci, since he was kidnapped and taken hostage by the Hermeticists cult. For more on singleplayer read this.
The multiplayer side will include the new Assassinate mode which is a free-for-all mode similar to Wanted except that there are no contracts, meaning that the player can choose to kill whomever they want. There is still no word whether the compass that leads players to their targets will be disabled for this mode. Escort, the second game mode, involves protecting your VIP while trying to kill the other team's VIP.
The Da Vinci Disappearance will be available for $9.99 on PSN or 800 MS Points on Xbox Live on March 8th.
