Something that PC games have always had an advantage over on console games are mods. This is one such case, in which a modder has created a color correction and cel-shading mod for Assassin's Creed 2.
The mod "Mod Color Correction & Cel-Shading." as named by the modder does exaclty as it says. It adds a cel-shading effect which looks fantastic and color corrects. It's arguable whether it is color correcting as that was the developers intent to make AC 2 look the way it does, but I get the idea. If your computer is beefy enough, I highly suggest you watch the video in 720p as it allows you to see some of the finer details. You can download the mod here.
